TransSolutions assisted PGAL and the Long Beach Airport (LGB) in evaluating the performance of the concourse and holdroom seating performance under the proposed new concourse and holdroom design. TransSolutions’ utilized an agent-based software from InControl called Pedestrian Dynamics to model individual passenger movements within the concourse and to select seating  in the holdroom areas to allow team to evaluate their new holdroom seating arrangement.

TransSolutions worked as part of the Team for the Terminal Expansion project at Asheville Regional Airport (AVL).  The project goals were to modernize and expand the passenger terminal building at the airport, taking into account advancing passenger processing technology.

TransSolutions helped develop and verify passenger processing, flow and vertical circulation requirements through the ~20 year planning horizon as well as developing design day flight schedules and terminal flow animations.

As part of the Elevate CVG, a multi-year program to expand and improve operations at the passenger terminal, TransSolutions performed capacity analyses for future passenger departure flows.

Passenger demand flows from the curbside, garage and east & west ground transportation centers were included.  The flows on the departures curbside, main terminal atrium and check-in halls were simulated to verify check-in requirements and identify Level of Service for passengers for multiple layouts and operations.
